Laughing= pepper spray and arrest

Those who know me well, know I like to laugh and when I get on roll I can't stop. After reading "Man Who Fell Off Couch Laughing at TV Show Ends Up Pepper Sprayed, Arrested," has me thinking twice about how tickled I get when watching any movie with Will Ferrell. According to FOX NEWS, Christopher Cocker who lives in an upstairs apartment in England was watching TV got extremely amused, started laughing and fell off his couch from laughing so hard. His downstairs neighbor was frightened by the thud, thought his neighbor was hurt, he called the cops. When the cops arrived, Cocker was surprised but acted cooperatively but then turned aggressive when police would not leave. They busted down in his door, pepper sprayed him, put him in the back of the cop car, and eventually thrown into a jail cell. The police feared for their own safety, supposedly. After reading the article, I couldn't help laughing ( not too hard) because this sounds like me. I live upstairs, I've fallen out of a chair numerous times from laughing; and yes I was sober. I understand the neighbor's and the cops concerns but at the same time everyone has a reasonable expectation of privacy in their home. The man was laughing maybe excessively but big deal, he was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. Next time I'm watching Anchor Man or Borat, I'm going to monitor my laughter because last thing I need is a noise complaint or even the police showing up at my door. You can read the entire article at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,365645,00.html.
Enjoy. Peace.

Cool. You're a good writer, Emily. I liked this one on laughter. Must control it . . . some anyway.
